The Connecticut American Legion Foundation
At The American Legion, we are dedicated to serving our community. We contribute to many local and national charitable organizations, and we operate our own foundations that help people in our communities.
The Connecticut American Legion Foundation, Inc. is organized as the charitable entity of The American Legion, Department of Connecticut. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation under the Internal Revenue Service code and was organized as a mechanism to raise funds. Its mission is to promote Americanism, Youth Programs, Veterans Rehabilitation and Community Service across Connecticut.
The Foundation accepts cash gifts, annuities, or remainder trusts. Bequests are also accepted. The foundation solicits contributions from individuals, American Legion Posts, American Legion members and other organizations that provide contributions or grants to promote The American Legion's programs.
The Connecticut American Legion Foundation is also soliciting foundation and corporate grants to assist us in completing our mission. Gifts should be made out to The Connecticut American Legion Foundation, Inc. If you have any questions, you can contact Department Headquarters at (860) 436-9986.
